Trading meme coins is one of the riskiest things you can do with money. Please read this properly before acting on anything you see on this site.

Most tokens fail

The large majority of new meme coins end as rugs, abandoned projects or dead charts, and a great many of them die within their first day. The handful of winners you hear about are loud precisely because they are rare. Assume any new token is worth nothing until proven otherwise.

Copying a wallet is not a strategy

A profitable wallet may be running something you cannot see from the outside. It may be sized completely differently to you, it may be hedged elsewhere, it may be the project team, it may be one of many wallets working together, and it may be selling into the buyers who copy it. A trader with a great month can lose all of it in a week.

You are always late

Every trade shown here has already happened. By the time a buy appears on this site the price has usually moved, sometimes a lot. Entry price decides your outcome as much as the coin does, so buying the same token at a different price is a completely different trade to the one you are copying.

A leaderboard only shows survivors

Ranking wallets by profit naturally puts the lucky at the top. Someone who took one wild bet and won looks identical to someone with real skill until you look at how many trades they made. Treat a small trade count with suspicion, and remember that the wallets that blew up are not on the board to be seen.

Our numbers can be wrong

Prices for thin pools can be quoted badly, and we have seen a single broken pool report a token at thousands of times its real value. We take a median across the deepest pools and cap a position at what the pool could actually absorb, but no method catches everything. A wallet's profit here covers only the history window we have scanned, not its lifetime. Verify anything important on a block explorer.

Rugs, honeypots and taxes

Some tokens are built so that only the creator can sell. Others let you buy freely and then block or heavily tax selling. Liquidity can be pulled in one transaction. A locked pool reduces one risk but does not remove the others, because the team can still hold most of the supply and sell into you.

Fees and slippage eat returns

Network fees, priority fees, DEX fees, slippage on a thin pool and sandwich bots all take a cut. On small positions these costs can be larger than the move you were trying to catch, so a trade that looks profitable on a chart can still lose money in practice.

Protect your wallet

MemeMoves never asks you to connect a wallet, sign a message or share a key, and it never will. Anyone contacting you claiming to be from MemeMoves and asking for a seed phrase, a private key or a signature is trying to rob you. If you trade meme coins, use a separate wallet that holds only what you are prepared to lose, never your main one.

Tax and legality

Trading profits are usually taxable, and the rules differ by country. Crypto trading is restricted or banned in some places. Working out what applies to you is your responsibility, and we give no opinion on it.

Only risk what you can lose

Never use rent money, savings you need, or borrowed money. Assume anything you put into a new token could go to zero within minutes, because it often does.

MemeMoves is a research tool and nothing on it is financial advice. We are not responsible for any loss you take. You trade entirely at your own risk.
